About & Contacts - Riga Photomonth 2021

Riga Photomonth is an international photography festival that takes place in the capital of Latvia since 2014. Riga Photomonth tries to respond to current events that affect us locally and globally, and explores new ways to talk about photography. The festival’s public programme includes exhibitions, public art activities, artist talks, discussions and screenings.

Next festival will take place from May 24 until July 4, 2021. Due to the consequences of Covid-19 restrictions, most events will take place outdoors and online. There will changes in the programme.

Riga Photomonth is organized by the association Riga Photomonth in collaboration with FK Magazine, Latvian Museum of Photography, ISSP and other partners. Riga Photomonth 2021 is kindly supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation, KultūrElpa, Riga City Council and others. Since 2015 the festival director is Arnis Balčus.
